The location is just steps from the beach, perfect for fishing and cycling. The indoor pool was too humid and gloomy, not appealing for kids. clean rooms with friendly staff. The café had good breakfast options for a decent price.

Check-in was a mixed bag—Mike was fantastic, sharing tips and arranging transport, while the check-in staff felt disorganized. The room was spacious with a lovely ocean view, but it had a weird smell, and the bathroom was cramped. The hotel had friendly staff, particularly Miss Gwen, who brightened our experience. amenities were lacking; linens were inadequate and the pull-out couch was barely usable. The location is quieter, ideal for some, but a trek to dining options. Great staff made a difference, but the issues can’t be overlooked. A real sense of potential here.

The room was impressively clean, with no dust or marks anywhere. Housekeeping, especially Diane, did an outstanding job. The bathroom tub had no residue, and I didn’t find a single hair on the bed or towels. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The air conditioning functioned flawlessly, ensuring a cool atmosphere even with the balcony door open. We enjoyed the convenience of the full kitchen and the lovely ocean/pool view from the balcony. The overall comfort made the stay quite enjoyable.

I was locked out on the balcony for over two hours during a downpour because of a chain on the door. It was a nightmare trying to get help, and I was left soaked and panicking with no apologies or compensation offered!

I was blown away by how spotless everything was! My disinfectant wipe stayed clean, and the cleaning staff were super friendly. Waking up to dolphins from my balcony was the cherry on top!

The ocean view is absolutely stunning. The staff is friendly and eager to help, making the stay more pleasant. Having a small kitchen is a nice touch when you want to whip up a quick meal.

I loved how this hotel was right on the beach, giving me beautiful views of Daytona Beach and making it easy to take nice strolls along the waterfront; it was just a few minutes from the bandshell which allowed us to enjoy events without being in the huge crowds. The hotel had a nice pool area and was clean with friendly staff, but the furniture could definitely use an update to match the fantastic atmosphere of the surrounding area.

Great beachfront location with beautiful views and clean, non-carpeted flooring. The room had ample storage, a large refrigerator, and a microwave. The balcony felt private, and I appreciated the clean sheets that ensured a comfortable night's rest.
Disappointing cafe options, with limited breakfast availability. The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, and the towels provided were not up to standard.

We had a blast checking out the Hawaiian-themed dinner theater and the epic helicopter tour over Daytona Beach! The chill vibes and ocean views made our trip unforgettable.
Wish they had more late-night party options for us young peeps to keep the fun rolling! .

Loved the friendly staff and well-kept grounds. The rooms were spacious and comfy, plus the beach was just steps away. AC was on point! The cafe had tasty breakfast options, and the outdoor shower was super handy. Just had a little hiccup getting stranded on the balcony for a bit, but it was mostly fine!

Immersed in the sights & sounds of Hawaii, we were delighted by the Hawaiian-themed dinner theater at the resort. With 10 movies to choose from and a helicopter tour over Daytona Beach's coastline and super speedway, it was a memorable experience for the whole family.
My children wished for more kid-friendly entertainment.

A mixed experience. The cleanliness was commendable; not a mark to be found. Diane, the housekeeper, deserves recognition. the rooms require upgrades and the beds are uncomfortably outdated. I appreciated the upgrade to a mini kitchen for my husband's needs, but the room's heat and noise from the AC detracted from comfort. The location is decent—dolphins visible from the balcony—but proximity to Main Street would have been preferable. A major downside was the delayed check-in. I sought relaxation, but the disarray left me frustrated. This property has potential, but a thorough renovation is essential. Would I return? Uncertain, but I'd advise caution.

It was so relaxing to wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. there were a few drawbacks to our experience. The room we stayed in was advertised to have a full kitchen with a stove, but it only had a mini fridge and a microwave. We were a bit disappointed as we had hoped to do some cooking during our stay. the room facilities description did not match what was actually provided, which was a bit misleading. the cleaning lady who tended to our room was fantastic! She ensured that everything was neat and tidy each day. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great, keeping us cool during the warm nights. One major issue we encountered was the noise from the side door near our room. It kept opening and closing, making it difficult to sleep. the lack of dinner or late-night snack options on the premises was a letdown, especially when we wanted to grab a bite to eat after a long day of exploring.

i had an amazing experience at Tropical Winds Resort. the room was clean and comfy with new kitchen cabinets, carpets, and mattresses. i loved the poolside cafe and the friendly staff. the breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff was outstanding. the ocean view room was beautiful with a surprise kitchenette. the balcony overlooking the ocean and pool was great, and it's a short distance to the boardwalk which was a nice touch.

We were disappointed to find ants in the bathroom and the balcony was too small to enjoy the view. However, the location on the beach and the delicious breakfast made our stay enjoyable. I'll recommend this hotel.

I went bananas over the 10 water slides and wave pool. The alligator exhibit was a real jaw-dropper! I enjoyed a thrilling Grand Prix race and tackled the challenging mini-golf courses.
Lost items? Not my problem, apparently.

Check-in was a hassle, with staff being unprofessional and unaccommodating. Issues with keys not working and rooms needing maintenance.

The staff at the resort were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. We loved having the onsite restaurant for convenient breakfast and lunch options. The indoor pool was perfect for the colder weather, and the location right on the beach was fantastic. It was a safe and comfortable place for a family vacation, and we hope to return soon!
Service for non-kitchen room guests was poor, as we were denied silverware.
